Pelican Traveler Bottle 32oz and Travel Mug Tumbler 22oz

PELICAN Products is renowned for its durable and waterproof protective cases. These bullet proof cases are well known amongst hardcore fishos, divers and outdoor enthusiasts wanting the best protection for their gear during transit or on location in remote and rugged places.

Pelican has now extended its protective range to include a couple of high quality, tough and insulated drinkware products; these include the Pelican Traveler Bottle and Pelican Traveler Tumbler. I’ve recently been using the 32oz (945ml) Pelican Traveler Bottle while fishing in the boat, on the kayak and also carried along in my backpack while fishing the rocks and trekking up river chasing bass. So far, I’ve been impressed by its rugged and compact design; it’s less bulky than traditional insulated bottles and very light. But most importantly, it keeps ice-cold water ice-cold and hot water hot for the entirety of a day’s fishing. The Pelican Traveler Bottle won’t leak a drop despite being bashed around in a kayak or bouncing violently in a backpack when you’re in a mad rush to get to the rock ledge for an early morning spin.

The Pelican Bottle is made from 18-8 (304) stainless steel, has a non-slip powder coated exterior, a non-slip rubber base and has an XL opening and tough screw top lid/handle. The Pelican Traveler Bottle looks and feels like it will last a lifetime in the harshest of environments, which ultimately means less plastic bottles that will end up in landfill and in our oceans.

Meanwhile, Fisho editor Scott Thomas has been using the Travel Mug Tumbler in the 22oz size (650ml). The Tumbler is a travel mug on steroids; built tough and featuring a thick insulation and the same powder coating and stainless steel construction. Scott reckons the Tumbler keeps coffee warm for far longer than conventional travel mugs and thanks the spill-resistant lid, works well in the car or boat without losing any precious coffee. Anyone who loves their coffee in the car or on the water should check out both of these products from Pelican.

RRP $49.95 (bottle); $39.95 (tumbler)
